General background information - lots of links

www.action-footandmouth.co.uk: A national action group whose objective is to obtain damages from the Government for those in the tourist industry and the rural economy who have been damaged by the way in which Foot and Mouth has been handled.  They believe that the cull should have been stopped weeks ago because MAFF was unable to dispose of the carcasses without damage to the health of the human population and damage to the tourist industry and the rural economy. They also believe that an injunction would have been available to prevent the cull weeks ago if we had been properly organised as a group of businesses. They maintain that the outbreak is not yet over and that we need to organise ourselves now and seek appropriate legal advice before another round of the cull begins.
